Manganese Ore Crusher
Manganese Ore Production Process
Manganese ore processing requires specialized equipment to achieve optimal size reduction and mineral liberation. As a leading manufacturer of mineral processing equipment, Liming Heavy Industry provides complete solutions for manganese beneficiation plants.
1. Primary Crushing Stage
The raw manganese ore (containing 15-30% Mn) undergoes primary crushing using Liming’s PE Series Jaw Crusher (e.g., PE600×900). Its deep crushing cavity and high reduction ratio effectively break large ore lumps (<500mm) into smaller particles (≤150mm).
2. Secondary Crushing
Pre-crushed material is further processed by:
- HPT Multi-cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher: For medium/hard manganese ores, ensuring uniform particle size
- PFW European Impact Crusher: Ideal for brittle manganese ores, producing cubic-shaped particles
3. Screening Process
Liming’s S5X Vibrating Screen separates crushed ore into different size fractions:
- Oversize material returns to crushers
- 10-30mm particles proceed to grinding
- 0-10mm fines bypass grinding (if not requiring further liberation)
4. Optional Tertiary Crushing
For high-grade ores requiring finer crushing, the VSI6X Sand Making Machine provides precision shaping and particle size control down to 5mm.
5. Beneficiation and Final Product
Processed manganese ore is then ready for:
- Magnetic separation (for carbonate-type ores)
- Gravity concentration (for oxide-type ores)
- Stockpiling of finished products (Mn≥30%)
